SIMBA

Howdy! Simba says, "I'm a very big cat, "King of the Jungle" they say, so would you like to play with me?" This is Simba at 5 years old, and he doesn't mind being the biggest cat of the house. He's been told he's my "Lion King", and expects to be treated like he is. Well, he does have a wonderful, cuddly personality too.

PATCHES MARIE

Georganne's calico cat, Peaches Marie, is an aspiring actress.

Georganne visited our I Love Cats website with pictures of our real cat family

and this is what she had to say ......................

"Just wanted to let you know that I think your site is beautiful. And so

are your cats. You had a picture of one of my cats, Patches Marie, on your

site a few weeks ago. (see picture above ) I printed it out and have it framed.

We have three cats and we don't know what we would do without them.

Our "Snowball" had to be put to sleep about seven years ago. She was

seventeen at the time and I cried hysterically when we finally made the

decision. I really think it was the hardest decision I ever made.

After that I was determined that we would have no more pets since it hurt

so much when they were no longer with us.

After about two months of emptiness, we got Patches and

Willow Ron when they were eight weeks old.

As with your Pumpkin, Willie was very sick about 1 1/2 yrs. ago. His

illness lasted three months and we didn't know if he was going to make it.

But we gave him everything we could, adjusting work schedules, etc. so he

would get his medication on time. He made it through and is the most

spoiled cat in existence. He can do pretty much anything he wants and get

away with it. Two years ago we adopted Kenny George from our veterinarian. He, too, is

so special. If I could, I would fill my house with cats for the pure joy they give us.

"PEST"

This is "PEST" she is a lively 13 year old tabby. Rescued at 4 months from the streets of Waikiki, where someone abandoned her. Fortunately we live in a pet friendly condo here and could keep her. She earned her name as she bumps her head against us constantly for petting and reassurance. She is very active and has kept her girlish figure all her life. She loves cheese and begs incessantly to have a piece as soon as she smells it. We purchased a large Sylvester plush and she adopted it immediately and sleeps nestled on his back at the foot of our bed. Makes for less leg room for me of course. I was happy to capture a picture of her doing this. She has a room mate "Miss Piggy" will submit her picture another time. Aloha; Glenna Moore; Hawaii

HERE ARE RUFUS AND LUCY

Sue is the proud owner of Rufus who was bottle fed from his first day of life. Rufus will be five years old in July. Then along came Lucy who spent her first six months of life in a cage in an animal shelter. Now she hates the cage and she is very active to make up for her time in confinement. Lucy is a Bully and picks on Rufus and the two dogs, being the Queen that she is, but all in all they make one happy family.

BUSTER

Buster (affectionately known as BooBoo) is an adorable gray tuxedo cat. His owners

say his personality is unique. Buster loves to chase his tail. They just say

"Get it Buster" and he starts. His favorite toy is a stuffed dinosaur that he

sleeps with every night. Buster will not drink from a bowl, he either sips from

a dripping faucet or from a glass by dipping his little paw in and then licking

his paw. Truly a unique kitty.

NORMA'S CATS

Here are Nicki and Micki. They are 9 years old and Norma adopted

them 2 years ago and they are wonderful! The live in Redondo Beach, California.

COOLIDGE (COOL FOR SHORT)

Rob is a fellow cat lover; has been all his life. The handsome kitties above are just two of his six cats. The oldest is 24 years old and still thinks he is a kitten. His name is Coolidge. Rob has several cats that lived to be 20 years or better. When we asked him what the secret is he said: "No real secret. Just Love and respect" He also believes that petting his kitties with quick strokes removes any negativity in the cat. He says to shake your hand in the air after you do this to remove negativity from your hand. Rob is an amatuer photographer and he did a great job of capturing the sweet faces of his kittys.

THREE SPOILED KITTYS

This is a picture of our very spoiled cats. The 2 black kittys are 1/2 Siamese, they are brother and sister. The other one we adopted last year from the animal shelter. It almost looks like they are posing. Can you say cheese?

HERE IS ANDREA'S FAMILY OF CATS

This is Tiffany. She has been with us for almost 2 years now. One of our other cats

died - and Tiffany was given to us by our daughter. We have grown very attached to this lovely cat.

Here is Lilly - our 3 1/2 year old cat that we brought with us from Germany.

She is a lovely cat and we love her dearly.

Valentine is with us since February 14, l999. She brings a lot of happiness to us.

This is a photo of Little Phillip. One of our dogs found Phillip last summer. He was about 1/2 month old and completely neglected. Of course we "adopted" him - and now he is a very handsome little guy!

BOUDI

Pronounced (Bowdee)

Boudi is half Himalayan, half Siamese. Her full name is Boudicca, pronounced Bow-di-see-yah, British Queen, defender of the faith. I call her Boudi for short. She is a delight with such a gentle temperment.
